What is an Independent Educational Consultant and How IEUSC Helps Students

The final years of high school can leave students feeling accomplished but exhausted. Many might not know what options are available to them locally and internationally, or they might abandon ambitious study plans when they encounter difficult obstacles, like how to finance tuition and fees, find accommodation, and more.

We operate on a commission-free basis; this means our IEUSC Team doesn't accept payments, benefits, promotional consideration, or other compensation from public or private institutions of any kind, including universities. This is important because it means the advice and reports prepared for and tailored to your profile will not be monetarily influenced by outside opinions or factors.

How Our Process Works for Students – Teaching Lifelong Skills

We assess each student's profile on a case-by-case basis, and to us, empowered students are successful students. It's important for us that students learn how to set their own goals, make their own decisions, pursue opportunities that are advantageous to them, and, of course, set and follow their own budgets. We don't strive to create dependency on a consultant, but rather, we teach students the skills, know-how, and habits to be able to accomplish their future goals on their own.

How Independent Counselling Services Can Help Parents

Higher education counselling and advising services are for students and their families, including parents and grandparents. Understanding the placement possibilities, the processes, the options, the planning, and more can help parents and family members stay involved in students' academic lives and aware of their paths and goals beyond high school. This is important because at this critical age and transition in their lives, students need all the help they can get.

High School Students

• High school students in their final years of studies who wish to improve their English or pursue an English proficiency certificate as a part of their application materials for an international university;

• High school students in their final years of studies who are looking to plan their graduating year efficiently and apply for an international study programme;

• Students with excellent academic profiles looking to maximise their potential;

University Students

• Students of all ages who wish to complete additional Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degrees;

• Students who feel "stuck" or stalled in their current programme and institution and wish to reconsider their options;

• Students who wish to enrol in an international university degree programme which requires further study abroad at additional locations as a part of that degree;

• Students who wish to enrol in combined degree programmes for even more qualifications (cotutelle, etc.);

• Graduates from any country with secondary-school qualifications or university degrees who wish to enrol for Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral studies in the Czech Republic;

• Residents of the Czech Republic with secondary-school qualifications or university degrees from any country who wish to enrol for Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral studies internationally in Europe, the UK, the USA, or other locations;

• Residents of the Czech Republic with valid Czech work permits for employment contracts who wish to return to university for further qualifications (and need to change their visa for study purposes).
